This patient presented with extreme wear throughout his upper and lower teeth, resulting in the loss of all of his natural teeth as viable options for restoration. This case is a powerful example of the significant damage that years of severe grinding can cause to the teeth.
After careful treatment planning, the patient underwent surgical treatment to remove the remaining teeth and place dental implants. One of the goals of treatment was to provide the patient with teeth immediately following surgery, so he was able to leave the office with implant-supported temporary hybrid prostheses while his implants and tissues healed.
Once healing was complete, the temporary prostheses were replaced with custom-designed final hybrid restorations. These restorations were carefully fabricated to restore his ability to eat and speak comfortably while also creating a natural, confident smile.
The transformation was both functional and aesthetic, giving this patient a completely new foundation for his oral health and quality of life. We were honored to be part of his journey from severely worn teeth to a strong, functional, and beautiful new smile.
